2024 Tesla Model 3: New Tesla Model 3 Compact Car Review

We expect the price of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 to start at around $46,000 for the base version

2024 Tesla Model 3 faces losing its crown as the world’s largest electric carmaker to Volkswagen by 2024, according to new research.

A study by Bloomberg Intelligence expects the German giant to double production to more than 2 million battery-powered vehicles by 2024, overtaking Tesla.

Rising battery costs 2024 Tesla Model 3 and limited production capacity mean most other competitors, including Ford and General Motors, have no incentive to catch up as quickly as Volkswagen, the report said. Hence Tesla is likely to remain the biggest EV seller in the US for some time.

Volkswagen’s production and sales are focused on Europe, and Bloomberg expects the company to expand further in China than in the Americas. US sales accounted for less than 10% of VW’s total last year, according to its annual report.

Tesla’s sales in China, where it now makes two models, will likely suffer as a result, Bloomberg said.

2024 Tesla Model 3 Review

2024 Tesla Model 3 was an early participant in the EV revolution and accounted for 75% of all-electric cars sold in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2022, according to Kelly Blue Book. Competitors are slowly taking advantage of their scale to eat up some of that market share.

Ford has taken the lead with the Ford F-150 Lightning, which has already received 200,000 orders, while GM is pushing for its next-generation “Ultium” battery. Volkswagen is also considering its sports car maker Porsche, which also has an electric model.

But Tesla has also expanded production and taken advantage of the economies of scale that existed in early adopters. It began shipping cars from its Berlin gigafactory in March, where it aims to produce 500,000 cars annually.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has tried to counter threats from the legacy automaker, joking that he was getting “free advertising” from his rivals in a tweet on Friday highlighting similar marketing strategies among manufacturers.

In an interview on Tesla Owners Silicon Valley’s YouTube channel released on Tuesday, Musk said rivals Rivian and Lucid face bankruptcy if they don’t cut costs.

Next-Gen Tesla Model 3: Will Tesla Redesign Model 3?

What will the next generation 2024 Tesla Model 3 look like? What would you change/update? Has anyone really thought about the next-generation 2024 Tesla Model 3? Apparently, the answer is yes, and it makes a lot of sense, but Tesla’s plate is too full. While we can’t imagine Tesla redesigning the 2024 Tesla Model 3 any time soon, it’s interesting to consider the possibility.

While Elon Musk says Tesla isn’t officially refreshing or redesigning its vehicles, it really is. In fact, it has been done quite a bit lately. Let’s take a quick look.

The Tesla Model S came to the market in 2012, although Tesla updated its exterior styling in 2016. The Model X is the new SUV for the 2016 model year. Both flagship vehicles are undergoing an extensive refresh for 2021.

The 2024 Tesla Model 3 was first launched in 2017. So the time for a redesign is arguably getting closer. Models and features have changed, but most cars are the same today.

However 2024 Tesla Model 3, despite the non-updated dialogue, Tesla recently updated the 2024 Tesla Model 3 to keep up with the newer Model Y. The Model Y started shipping in March 2020 and has undergone a few updates.

Keep in mind, that the 2024 Tesla Model 3 doesn’t really rely on model years, and is constantly updating and improving its vehicles through over-the-air software updates.

So, there’s probably no reason to rush into a major refresh or redesign. However, it might make sense for Tesla to launch a next-generation version of its best-selling car – which is also the best-selling EV worldwide – in the near future.

This may be especially true after the brand opened its upcoming factory and exited its current “production constraint” situation.

Let’s not forget, that Tesla has promised a Cybertruck, which should go into production before the end of 2021. There’s also a next-gen Tesla Semi and Roadster in the works, but that seems to be in the works for now.

Additionally, the automaker has delayed the updated Model S and Model X on several occasions. And, we’re not even getting into Tesla’s plans for a $25,000 compact car.

How to Buy a Tesla Model 3

Step 1: Go Online to Tesla Website

2024 Tesla Model 3 offers two ways to buy its cars: through the company’s website or its live showrooms. In both cases, you may be ordering the car instead of buying it on the spot.

The best place to start is probably the Tesla Design Studio. Through this feature on the Tesla website, you can poke and push your car until you adjust it to fit. Starting here will also give you a good feel for the various options Tesla has to offer, including:

This is arguably the biggest drawback of electric cars. While stopping to refuel can take no more than a few minutes, a full charge of the Tesla battery can take just over an hour.

Even getting a decent fee takes 30 minutes or so. While you can’t count on recharging this car on your way to work, there are a number of other advantages to electric cars.

Step 2: Visit Service Center

Don’t click buy yet. These are not cheap household items that you can easily return. The next step is to see if Tesla has a service center near you.

While Tesla doesn’t run a typical car dealership network, it owns and operates service centers across the US.

It serves as a maintenance location and showroom where you can see the car in person, ask questions, and take one for a test drive. Make sure to do it. You may have to schedule a test drive in advance, as the company keeps relatively few cars in each showroom lot.

For people who don’t live near a showroom, Tesla offers two options. First, the company regularly organizes test drive events across the country and around the world.

You can search for upcoming events on the Tesla website. Second, Tesla lets you return the car in three days if you haven’t taken one for a test drive, so technically you can try the car after spending a year’s salary on one.

However, if you can get to the showroom, you’d better do it the old-fashioned way.

Step 3: Buy a Car

You’ve seen the models and options. You choose the car that suits you at the right price. And you’ve taken it for a test drive (if possible). Now it’s time to buy.

Depending on where you live, there are two options for buying a Tesla. First, showrooms located in New Hampshire, California, Virginia, and Colorado can sell Teslas to you directly.

However, showrooms tend to keep a limited supply of cars, so they may not have what you want. But if they have stock, you can buy and drive just like you would at a regular dealer. In all other states, the law prohibits this or it is not clear.

Your second option for buying is online. A common model for buying a Tesla is through the company’s website. You can also contact the company’s sales team at (888) 518-3752. You will configure your car through the website design studio and buy it there, including filling out any paperwork for the loan.

This is a two-step process. First, you have to configure your car. By now you should have a good understanding of what you want. On the Tesla website, you can choose your model, options, and price. Spend some time on this, and come back to take another test drive if you have second thoughts.

The second step is to choose your financing option. Unless you are buying a car with cash, you will want to determine the terms of your loan. (Tesla also offers to lease, for customers who choose not to buy.)

You can finance your purchases through Tesla or use individual financing through other institutions. Requirements will depend on personal credit and payment schedule. If you choose to finance through Tesla, the company’s website will handle your application as part of the purchase process.
