2024 Acura MDX has been Acura’s midsize luxury three-row SUV since the 2001 model year. It was redesigned for 2022 and benefits from sleeker exterior styling, additional legroom in all three rows, and other interior updates. The fourth-generation MDX has stepped up its splendor with an enhanced interior featuring high-end materials such as open porous wood, stainless steel speaker enclosures, and a wide choice of available finishes.

In 2023, Acura is adding free maintenance for the first two years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. This should include standard oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections. The automaker has also given away three years of free AcuraLink telematics service. AcuraLink allows drivers to access certain vehicle functions from their smartphones, provides in-vehicle Wi-Fi, and unlocks Amazon Alexa integration.

Since the MDX is relatively recent from its redesign, we don’t expect major changes to the 2024 Acura MDX. New colors may be added or certain features may be shuffled to become standard or part of a different package.

2024 Acura MDX Review

Acura is introducing the fourth-generation MDX in 2022. With the recent MDX redesign that came a few years ago, we expect the 2024 MDX to come as the default model.

2024 Acura MDX

The exterior design of the 2024 Acura MDX should remain the same for the upcoming model year. The current midsize SUV sports a sporty design with sharp headlamps, a large shield-shaped grille, and angular lines on the front fascia.

At the rear, the MDX will still have the triangular taillights that wrap around the sides of the SUV, dual exhaust outlets, and a simple rear spoiler. The sides of the MDX have deep body lines and protrusions.

We don’t expect Acura to make any changes to the MDX’s interior design for 2024. The current SUV features a unique center console layout with push buttons for transmission, a touchpad and physical buttons for the infotainment system, and a narrow row of controls. for HVAC systems.

The tiered dashboard has an indentation with the infotainment screen positioned in the center. Acura adapted the MDX with premium materials, while sportier trims offered athletic touches such as metal pedals, a large shift lever, and firmly supported seats.

On the technology front, the 2024 MDX is expected to feature the same technologies available in the current SUV. Standard features on the MDX include a 12.3-inch display, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, nine audio speakers, Bluetooth, Amazon Alexa, and satellite radio. Available features include a 25-speaker ELS audio and navigation system.

Acura is offering the current MDX with two engines. A 3.5 liter V6 engine is standard. That produces 390 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The sporty Type S trim comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that develops 355 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque.

Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available. We hope this engine will be available for the 2024 model year. In terms of safety features, the 2024 MDX should have the same equipment list as the SUV currently on sale.

The MDX is equipped with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, lane keeping assistance, lane departure warning, driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning, traffic sign recognition, and traffic jam assist. cross. Available safety features include reverse automatic emergency braking, an all-around view parking camera, parking sensors, and a head-up display.

Acura MDX 2024

The all-new electric 2024 Acura MDX SUV, which will probably take on models like the Tesla Model Y will become Acura and is expected to be launched in 2023. The new Acura EV SUV will be based on the Global EV platform developed by General Motors.

Honda and GM recently teamed up to create a new electric vehicle. The new Acura EV SUV will be developed at GM’s Spring Hill plant in Tennessee, where the 2022 Cadillac Lyriq will also be developed. Honda recently announced that an all-new electric SUV, based on the GM Global EV Platform is ready to arrive in the US in 2023.

As a step towards emission-free by 2040, Honda has revealed that a pair of large electric SUVs, which will compete with The Tesla Model Y will go on sale in 2023 with the model year 2024 Acura MDX.

“But everything on the platform will be unique to Honda and unique to Acura,” Dave Gardner, Executive Vice President, Honda (USA).

While not many details have been released about the specifications and features of the new EV, as it will be based on GM’s Global EV platform, it is expected to be powered by GM’s Ultium Lithium-ion battery and Ultium Drive electric motor.

Against the Tesla Model Y, the new Acura electric SUV is expected to offer a range of 300 to 350 miles, as can be seen in the case of GM’s Cadillac Lyriq-sized EV.

The 2024 Acura MDX EV will be developed at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee, which will also be home to the 2022 Cadillac Lyriq. GM also revealed some time ago that it has invested a massive $2 Billion in the Spring Hill plant that will develop all of GM’s EVs for now. this.

Honda hasn’t even told anyone the name of the vehicle yet, we expect it to be an all-electric version of the 2024 Acura MDX.

The Honda Prologue, which will debut with the 2024 Acura MDX model year, will be the first and will be followed by the electric SUV duo Acura. Therefore, Honda’s reliability and General Motors’ build technology might be one of the best combinations the automotive world has ever seen.
