2024 Acura Integra made many very happy with the launch of the new Integra, a car that harkens back to the heyday of the Acura brand in the United States.
The 2024 Acura Integra is certainly Honda’s first and foremost, but whatever it’s called, it’s an amazing car and the version that’s certainly best remembered is the Type R. Type is a fantastic car, and the examples will continue. it goes up and up in value every month.
The launch of the new car got us thinking. Can’t we have a new Type R? After all, we got a new NSX when Honda brought it back, and the Civic Type R still survives after all these years.
The new 2024 Acura Integra Type R will make the model more attractive, given that many feel a little changed that the standard car uses the Civic model as its basis. We got the front view of Rostislav Prokop creating a new Integra Type R for us, and we also have all the nostalgia about the original Integra Type R.
The original 2024 Acura Integra Type R first came in 1995 to the Japanese domestic market, as part of the third generation of the original Integra. It comes with 197 hp as standard thanks to the factory-tuned B18C engine and has a five-speed manual transmission ratio close to it.

The dashboard has many sweeping elements and a centralized center console with physical controls. The infotainment screen sits above the dashboard and is placed on the front of the center console for easy reach from the driver’s seat.
Thanks to the 2024 Acura Integra hatchback body, the vehicle offers up to 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space.

2024 Acura Integra Specs

Of course, while we desperately wanted one of these, we knew the new Integra Type R wouldn’t be easy enough. There are a few things that need to be addressed.
First, Acura had to remove the Type S moniker currently used on its performance range. We certainly expect the 2024 Acura Integra Type R can bring us closer to the Integra Type R.
Acura also cannot use the Type R badge on their cars, which is exclusive to Honda’s parent company. So that’s a little sticking point. This is not something impossible to overcome, but the car will have to be a Honda, and unfortunately, it is unlikely to happen.
We missed the new version of the 2024 Acura Integra Type R, but it really felt like something that would never happen. The Type S integration is the closest we’ve ever gotten, and it might offer a little more in terms of performance. It might make us quite happy too.
But the new 2024 Acura Integra Type R, with a bolder style, huge rear wings, splitters, and all sorts of other changes will be sensational. Coupled with the level of performance we knew the Honda/Acura could come out of, that made us very hopeful that this pipe dream could come true.

When the 2023 Acura Integra was revealed, it set the internet on fire with polarized opinions. In our first drive of the 2023 Acura Integra, we found a lot to like. While Integra doesn’t do much nostalgia for its previous models, it offers a pleasant driving experience that is very similar to the fun found behind the wheel of the 2022 Honda Civic Si. That’s not surprising considering 2024 Acura Integra and Civic currently share the same platform.
Despite the above-average driving dynamics and quite a luxurious interior, it is understandable if a few people are not sure. It’s one thing for Acura to bring back 2024 Acura Integra as a high-end Civic alternative, but fans of the previous model (and puritans) would like to see the new platform pushed to the limit.

2024 Acura Integra Spyshot
Thanks to a few spy shots from AllCarNews, we may have caught a glimpse of the first 2024 Acura Integra Type S performance variant. Their photography ninja has been spying on the 2024 Acura Acura Integra on the road and although this vehicle is fully enclosed in tent-style camos, its silhouette gives it away. Especially from the front view where the large grille 2024 Acura Integra gives it.
However, what really gives this car is rearview. It can be clearly seen that this 2024 Acura Integra uses the same triple exhaust tip found on the 2023 Civic Type R. AllCarNews speculates that the exhaust tip is a clear symbol that this is a 2024 Integra Type S that is undergoing public road testing.
This is a convincing argument given the evidence at hand. Of course, there is no official word from Acura regarding these images, but as soon as we get more information, we will finish it.
2024 Acura Integra Interior
2024 Acura Integra currently comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, eight audio speakers, Bluetooth, a USB port, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
Available features include a 9-inch touchscreen, 16-speaker audio system, wireless smartphone compatibility, Wi-Fi hot spots, Amazon Alexa, HD Radio, satellite radio, and a wireless charging pad. These features should continue to be available for the 2024 model year.
Each Integra comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The 2024 Acura Integra should continue to be offered with the same engine.
The engine produces 200 horsepower and can be paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with the 2024 Acura Integra.
Acura offers the 2024 Acura Integra a full list of standard safety features. We don’t expect the hatchback equipment list to change for the upcoming model year.
